CANADIAN CO-OPERATIVE HALL OF FAME | TEMPLE DE LA RENOMMÉE DES COOPÉRATIVES CANADIENNE

The Canadian Co-operative Hall of Fame is Canada’s first virtual Hall of Fame recognizing and celebrating the legacies and achievements of outstanding Canadian co-operators.

At the beginning of this, CCA’s anniversary year, Canadian co-operators were asked to put forth names of co-operative pioneers who made significant and lasting contributions to the development of Canadian co-operatives and credit unions. Fourteen outstanding individuals were nominated. From these fourteen individuals, CCA went back to the co-operative community, seeking their on-line vote for the one person who would be given the additional recognition of Canada’s Greatest Canadian Co-operator.



On June 28, 2011 four outstanding co-operators and one organization were inducted into the Canadian Co-operative Hall of Fame. We invite to you to learn the incredible stories and achievements of each of the tree pioneer inductees, the Global Co-operator inductee and the Canadian Co-operative Achievement inductees.

	Global Co-operator Award Recipients An annual CCA award recognizing the outstanding commitments of individuals or an organization to the international development work of the Canadian Co-operative Association and the Co-operative Development Foundation View List

	Canadian Co-operative Achievement Award Recipients An annual CCA award in recognition of men and women who contribute in significant ways to promoting, developing and uniting co-operatives in Canada. View List
