Co-op Advisory Services in Northwest Territories

-Where to get practical help for co-op development

Unlike most provinces of Canada, the Northwest Territories does not have a co-op association that supports all types of co-operatives. Arctic Co-operatives Limited (ACL) is an important development agent in the north, but it focuses on multi-purpose co-ops that fit with its mandate and expertise, and it has limited capacity to support other types of co-ops. Nonetheless, any new co-op can request information and referrals from ACL or their local member co-ops, and they are sure to offer what support they can.  The government department that oversees co-operatives will also offer basic information and assistance.

Below you will find links to organizations in your territory. For further assistance, see
National Co-op Advisory Services.
