-Where to get practical help for co-op development

Most of the organizations listed below provide general co-op development assistance at no cost. Their capacity to help is limited by available resources, but they will generally assist your group in every way they can.

All new co-ops are strongly advised to connect with their provincial / territorial co-op association as one of the first steps on the development path. These associations can provide direct assistance to your group. Since they represent the network of co-ops within your area, they can also provide links to similar co-ops or other established co-ops that can help as well.  In fact, one of the key benefits of joining your co-op association is the opportunity to connect with and learn from other co-operatives.

Below you will find links to organizations that help co-ops in your province. For further assistance, see
National Co-op Advisory Services.
